H I S T O R Y

Sebastian grew up wanting to be an adult. He finished high school at 17, moved out of his parents' house and worked for two years before starting college, then found that he just really liked being a kid.

His college years were spent much like a kid, he was a frat boy, he did stunts, he partied, he pulled all-nighters just before exams. And because of those, he pulled through with good enough grades, as well as a wife and a daughter, graduating at 22, having majored in journalism.

And he didn't regret any of it.

Promising as he were, Sebastian had had an internship at one of the smaller newspapers in New York, but it only took him a few years after graduating before he was employed by the Times, and Emma was out of school as well.

It was almost uncanny how fast he could get a story. He was always where it happened and some joked he had magic powers, "like he could stop time, or something". Sebastian just smiled. He never told Emma, which was why it came as more than a surprise when she informed him one night, just after Cori had turned 2, of her own destiny.

He had trouble accepting it at first, but seeing how calm and resigned she was to the fact, Sebastian could do nothing but accept it. After that, he tried to spend as much time as possible with his family, not wanting to miss more time with them than necessary.

Now 40, Sebastian is still mourning the loss of his wife, but he is trying to get over it, as well as help his daughter through her own destiny. He hasn't been much help yet, however, and he doesn't think he will be, but at least he can be there.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Sebastian keeps cheerful, if he can help it. He has a smile on his face almost constantly, and he looks approachable and friendly, something he also is. He can be loud, embarrassing those around him, but he almost always means to, and just gives them a grin should they try to hide or pretend not to know him.

While it's not exactly good for him, he smokes at least 10 cigarettes a day and complains of the cough just as often.
